About Carolina Pet Services
We opened in 1994 offering Pet Cremation Services on what was the site of the Carlyle Ferguson Dairy Farm for over 30 years. Carlyle and Marie Ferguson sold out the dairy business in 1993. Their son George, then a student at NCSU, did the research on Pet Cremations & realized the need in Western North Carolina. In 1994 they decided to transition the Farm into a Pet Cremation business with the desire to keep the 3rd generation Farm in the Family.
