Presidio Pet Cemetery

Presidio Pet Cemetery is the final resting place for hundreds of furry, scaly, and feathered companions who faithfully served the Army post's military families. Tucked in a valley not far from Crissy Field, it’s one of the Presidio’s most peculiar yet endearing attractions. The cemetery was established in the early 1950s and is closed to new burials today, but visitors can come to pay their respects.
