Our mission is to provide professional, honest, respectful, & compassionate cremation aftercare services to both grieving pet families and veterinary service providers. Jared Schmitt earned an Associates Degree in Large Animal Veterinary Technology from NICC in Peosta, IA and had a long career at Adams Pet Hospital. Megan Schmitt is an RN who has worked for Hospice of Dubuque since 2008. She is also the Mayor of Centralia, IA. Jared & Megan live on the same property as S&S Pet Cremation with their four kids-Alexis, Jackson, Sullivan & Lincoln. They also have 3 dogs, 1 cat, 2 skinny pigs, and a three legged toad.
